JOB TITLE: CNC Applications Technician
LOCATIONS: Massachusetts, Illinois and New Jersey

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the part programming of CNC machines, process development, and customer training in a manufacturing environment
  • Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, machine assessment and recommendations, and part processing recommendations
  • Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Interpreting part prints, plans and specifications
  • Create time studies and perform first part run off
  • Programming, setup and training of Citizen and Miyano CNC lathes and CNC vertical or horizontal mills. Setting up CNC programming per customer specifications
  • Provide customer support via phone and travel to customer sites
  • Align and interface bar feed unit
  • Travel required in the US


  • 5+ years experience with CNC machines; Swiss screw machines experience for CNC lathe preferred
  • Citizen & Miyano experience helpful
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
  • Excellent and effective communications skills required
  • High School or equivalent; some college courses preferred

JOB TITLE: Service Technician
LOCATION: Allendale, NJ

Seeking qualified individual to install, maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines. Individual will report to Customer Support Manager. Opportunities for growth available.

Job Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, trouble shoot, and do repairs on CNC Machines (Citizen & Miyano helpful)
  • Replace ball screws, motors and cartridge spindles
  • Use ladder and diagnostic functions on all controls
  • Phone support for troubleshooting; daily and heavy at times
  • Align and adjust tools
  • Repair spindle bearings
  • Provide time study estimates
  • Perform demonstrations
  • Align and interface the barfeed unit
  • Perform first part run off; ensuring machine acceptance
  • Travel to customer sites for repair and/or troubleshooting


  • Must be able to travel up to 40% of time in central US
  • 3-6 years’ experience in CNC machine tooling
  • Electrical, mechanical and automation experience
  • Proficient in geometry
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read ladder diagrams and control diagnostics
  • Interact professionally with customers by phone and in person
  • Have a clean driving record and own vehicle
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

JOB TITLE: Junior Sales Engineer - CNC Machines
LOCATIONS: New Jersey, California, and Illinois

This position is a junior trainee position. Seeking candidates with technical knowledge that would like to move into sales position. No commissions at junior level. CNC MACHINE TOOL and TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE A MUST. Travel is required. Marubeni offers an excellent benefits package.

  • Introduction to and development of a thorough understanding of our products, product knowledge and business through on-the-job training, mentoring, attending in-house training classes
  • Train with in-house experienced salespeople to develop sales skills and tools
  • Complete sales training and processes period – up to 36 months
  • Develop sales and relationship building skills to complement your technical knowledge
  • Assist in creation and presentation of technical proposals to customers and provide sales support
  • Participate in sales and customer calls/appointments and product demonstrations
  • Attend and participate in Trade Shows
  • Travel to customers when needed

  • Enter and record updates in company software

  • Able to navigate SYSPRO or similar software
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
