This entry level position has heavy data entry, computer, phone work. Must have excellent computer skills and the ability to assist in Warehouse when workload and tasks require. Proficiency with computer navigation including order entry, product look up, sales entry, and procuring customer’s requests using the computer are daily duties
Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence, offering suggestions and opinions and identifying correct parts
Sells parts by taking and clarifying customer orders; retrieving and selling new and replacement parts; receiving and recording new parts inventory; maintaining parts databases; maintaining safe and secure environment
Completes sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system; obtaining payment; adding purchase to credit account; issuing sales receipts
Establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing prompt and courteous service for all customers and potential customers by phone or e-mail
Assisting warehouse staff in picking and packing when workload requires, example: ordering picking, cycle counting, shipping/receiving tasks
The ability to reference the part of the Citizen or Miyano product line in the extensive parts database
Enter order data into SYSPRO system
Familiarity with various parts for CNC machines would be helpful, but not required
Works with SYSPRO to create accurate packing slips
Assist in keeping parts area clean and orderly
Assign OEM part numbers
Will assist with annual inventory count
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Knowledge of SAP or SYSPRO preferred
Experience in Parts Department environment
Must Have a Strong Customer Service Focus
High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent computer skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office required

Basic knowledge and operation of CNC machines
1-3 years’ experience as machinist
Knowledge and applications of machine tool products, options and functions
Mechanical and electrical experience preferred in CNC Machine Tools but not required
Excellent communications skills
Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting mechanical systems preferred
Position may require long periods of standing
Work may be performed inside a shop in which machines are continually running generating varying degrees of noise; the facility may be subject to varying temperatures
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsible for the part programming of CNC machines, process development, and customer training in an manufacturing environment
Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, machine assessment and recommendations, and part processing recommendations
Programing, set up and training of Citizen and Miyano CNC lathes and CNC vertical or horizontal mills. Setting up CNC programming per customer specifications
Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
Provide customer support via phone and travel to customer sites
Domestic travel required in the tri state area - up to 80% for MA and CA, 30% for NJ and IL)
Interpreting part prints, plans and specifications
Create time studies and perform first part run off
Align and interface bar feed unit
Occasional travel to Mexico and Canada
5+ experience with CNC machines; swiss screw machines experience for CNC lathe preferred
Excellent and effective communications skills required

Install, maintain, trouble shoot, and do repairs on CNC Machines (Citizen & Miyano helpful)
Assist in field start-up and customer training when necessary.
Replace ball screws, motors and cartridge spindles
Use ladder and diagnostic functions on all controls
Phone support for troubleshooting; daily and heavy at times
Perform first part run off; ensuring machine acceptance
Domestic travel and international travel required (Mexico and Canada)
