This entry-level role offers mentoring and hands-on training in troubleshooting CNC machines and performing basic repair techniques. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Machine Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining mechanical equipment layouts, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and designing mechanical components and mechanisms. The designer will also provide technical support, coordinate with vendors, and assist in prototype assembly and testing. Occasional travel to customer facilities (~5%) may be required.

Design mechanical components and mechanisms, and produce construction/detail drawings
Enter component and BoM information into ERP system
Communicate with vendors and fabricators for parts sourcing
Perform mechanical assembly and testing of prototypes
Coordinate build and purchasing activities internally and with suppliers
Create project documentation, including manuals
Provide technical support and troubleshoot as needed

4–8+ years’ experience in mechanical machine design
Machine design experience, preferably with machine tool accessories/equipment
